Raymond Abernathy is a distinguished IT professional, pastor, and keynote speaker with a remarkable career that spans over three decades. Graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science in an impressive two and a half years. His unparalleled expertise in computer science and software engineering allowed him the opportunity to work for major companies like AT&T, Nestle, and State Farm as a senior computer programmer. He also owns an Honorary Doctorate from United Theological Seminary in Biblical Studies, and he serves as Senior Pastor of the historic Union Baptist Church of Chesterfield in Missouri.
He is a regular lecturer at Saint Louis University on the topics of Technology and Leadership. His passion for education has afforded many opportunities to speak in front of thousands across the United States and Internationally.
In a testament to his entrepreneurial spirit, he and his wife Tina, co-own a successful web platform called Starfish. Raymond has been married to his high school sweetheart Tina for thirty plus years. Together they have raised three successful adult children, Tirae (Family Nurse Practitioner/Certified Nurse Midwife), Lloyd (Software Engineer), and TiNiah, (Earning B.S. Nursing). They enjoy reading, all kinds of outdoor adventures, and serving within the community. To whom much is given, much is required.
